The alarm was received at 21.44 that a man in Alby had been stabbed. The man stabbed in the back has been taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter. The police are on the scene and gathering information and working to apprehend those who caused the injuries.

The injured party was awake and able to speak before being taken away. No one has been arrested at this time for the incident, which is classified as attempted murder.

Several different police resources are participating in the operation. The police are conducting interrogations, tracking with a dog patrol and inventorying surveillance footage. The helicopter is also participating.
