Police, ambulance and fire department are alerted on Friday evening to an accident in Sandviken.

A boy of school age has become stuck in a container for unknown reason and injured himself.

The child is taken to hospital by ambulance where he unfortunately dies from his injuries.

The police have filed a report on causing death to another person in order to investigate how the accident occurred.

A police cordon has been set up around the accident site where a technical investigation will be conducted.

Relatives of the boy have been informed.

At present, interviews are being conducted with witnesses with further investigative measures.

The police will not be able to comment further on the course of events at the accident.
