23:16 Traffic accident E20 Skiftinge, Eskilstuna.

A single-vehicle accident occurs when a car for unknown reasons drives off the road at Skiftinge. A 50-year-old man is seriously injured and has to be cut out of the car. However, he is awake and able to speak when he is taken to the hospital. At present, there is no suspicion of a traffic offense.

00:17 Assault, drug possession, Brandholmen, Nyköping.

Police are called to an apartment due to a dispute between neighbors. Two men in their 40s have started arguing and punches are said to have been thrown. One of the men, who is suspected of assault, leaves the scene. The other man is not seriously injured, but is instead suspected of drug possession.

03:00 Traffic accident, Härad E20, Strängnäs.

A passenger car brakes for a wild animal and is rear-ended by another car. The 40-year-old woman driving and the passenger, a 25-year-old man, are not seriously injured. The driver of the other car, a 45-year-old man, is suspected of not keeping a safe distance from the vehicle in front.
