Älvdalen

23.39: A fire breaks out in a building in Särna and the person surrounding the fire has tried to extinguish it. The person, a 65-year-old man, was taken to hospital by ambulance. There is no suspicion of a crime in connection with the fire.

Avesta

04.29: In central Avesta, a 35-year-old man is being checked and suspected of narcotics crime possession.

Hedemora

00.06: A traffic accident occurred on Highway 270 in Husby where a car collided with a cow. A patrol went to the scene to speak with the driver and there is no suspicion of a crime in connection with the accident. The car will need to be towed but is not traffic hazardous. The cow died and was taken away.

Ludvika

01.03: The police started a pursuit of a car south of Ludvika in the direction of Dagkarlsbo. Traffic is calm and the car is stopped after a minute. The driver, a 65-year-old man, is suspected of gross unauthorized driving.

05.24: On Highway 50 at Klenshyttan, a traffic accident occurred during the early morning hours between a car and a bus. The bus driver and the three passengers are said to have escaped without the need for an ambulance and the bus was able to continue from the scene. The driver of the car, a 20-year-old woman, is suspected of reckless driving. She was also taken to hospital by ambulance for observation.
