A patrol observes a car in Rockeneby during the night and intends to check it. When the patrol tries to get the car to stop, the driver refuses to stop. The driver instead increases the speed and tries to drive away from the patrol.

A pursuit is initiated and ends when the car drives over the police's spike mat.

Two people are found in the car, both of whom are apprehended.

The driver, a man in his 40s, is suspected of gross negligence in traffic, gross drunk driving, gross unauthorized driving, narcotics offense - possession and use, not stopped on a police officer's signal, and theft.

The passenger, a man in his 45s, is suspected of narcotics offense - own use, possession, and theft.

The car had a trailer attached with suspected stolen goods.
