A woman in her 40s who was walking her dog on Norra Hamngatan in Gothenburg was bitten in the leg by a dog that tried to attack both the woman and her dog.

The woman started bleeding on her leg. Police on the scene identified the dog owner, who was also a woman in her 40s. Police have filed a report for causing bodily harm.

The woman who was bitten was driven by a police patrol to the hospital for further treatment.
