Thursday 24 July a deceased woman was found outdoors in central Lysekil. The police initiated an investigation concerning suspected murder due to unclear circumstances. The crime scene investigation together with the forensic autopsy investigation now makes it possible for us to rule out a crime. Since there is no suspicion of a crime behind the woman's death, the case is no longer being investigated as a suspected murder. The police have a strong theory about the sequence of events and what led to the woman's death, but out of consideration for the deceased woman and her relatives, we will not go into further details.
