August 4, 00.45, Explosion, Gothenburg

The police, ambulance, and rescue services were alerted at 23:57 to Mandolingatan due to an "explosion".   The police are now on the scene and can confirm that an explosion occurred at an entrance to a multi-family house.  The area is cordoned off and the national bomb protection unit is on its way.   No one has been injured.

An investigation has been initiated for public destruction, gross crime.     Parallel to the work being done at the crime scene, we are also trying to identify, locate, and apprehend the perpetrator(s) involved in the crime.  The operation is ongoing and no further information will be released at this time.
