Here follow a selection of events from last night:

01.25 Assault, Umeå:
Police patrol is contacted by bouncers at a bar in central Umeå about a fight. A man is alleged to have hit two other people. There are no reports of any of the victims needing to be taken to hospital. A report of assault is drawn up. The suspected man is apprehended in accordance with the LOB, the law on the apprehension of intoxicated persons.

02.09 Theft of a vehicle, Lycksele:
Police patrol checks a transport truck that is suspected to have been stolen. It has been left south of Lycksele. In connection with this, it is discovered that another vehicle, a car, has been stolen from the same location.

The car is found and stopped by the police. Two people under the age of 18 are traveling in the car. The driver is under 15 years old.

A report is drawn up regarding the theft of a vehicle in two cases, as well as unauthorized driving.

The two people are handed over to their guardians.

02.10 Vandalism, Umeå:
A man at a bar in central Umeå is alleged to have caused damage to a window. Police patrol documents the scene, holds an interrogation with the man, and draws up a report of vandalism.

06.27 Wildlife accident, Norsjö:
Police receive a report of an accident involving a small truck and an elk in Lidträsk. No personal injuries are reported. The elk was injured in connection with the accident and a tracker is called out.

Other:
Police have also carried out checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.
