Police headquarters has handled a number of cases related to Östergötland county during the night.

Assault, Linköping: At 03.30, police are alerted to central Linköping due to an ongoing assault. A person has been seen hitting another person so that this person fell on their back. After this, the parties have parted ways. A patrol encounters the affected person, a man in his 20s, who does not want to cooperate. A report of assault is made, where the perpetrator is unknown.

LOB, Finspång: At 05.30, police receive several calls from the E51 highway near Dunderbacken in Finspång. A woman has walked on the highway but sat down on the road. A patrol encounters the woman and she is taken care of according to LOB. 

Explosions, Norrköping: At 22.30, police are alerted to two loud explosions in the Östantill area in Norrköping. Police have been on the scene with several patrols and searched the area, talked to people who have been out on the streets and inventoried camera material. Police have not found anything that stands out and cannot confirm any crime. It is unclear why the loud explosions occurred.
