The police's on-duty commanding officer decides on a mountain rescue in accordance with the LSO, the law on protection against accidents, to assist a man who fell and injured his shoulder during a hike along Kungsleden.

Mountain rescuers are called out. They fly by helicopter and pick up the man who is taken to an ambulance for further transport to medical care.

The mountain rescue is completed.
