Samtal has been received from a care facility in Sandarna. Staff report that a resident was allegedly attacked by a woman with some kind of sharp object. The woman in question is said to have left the scene after this. She is also said to have stolen the man's phone. Police and ambulance are called to the scene.

The injured man (70-year-old) has been seen to by ambulance on the scene. He is said to have a laceration but is otherwise doing well under the circumstances.

Based on identification information, police can locate and secure the woman in question in the surrounding area. The woman (40-year-old) is arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault and aggravated theft.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently unclear. Police will continue working on the case, including technical investigation and witness interviews.
