The police have taken two people into custody for intoxication between 00-07. The police have also carried out several checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.

00:18 Traffic offense, Umeå
A vehicle that was checked on Vännäsvägen near Backen in Umeå had two winter tires on. A fine (fine) was issued.

00:27 Drunk driving, Nordmaling

Police checked a man, who is in his 30s, on Anderstorp in Skellefteå. He was suspected of being intoxicated and was taken for a blood test. Items were found in his possession that made him also suspected of a crime against the knife law. A report is to be drawn up regarding suspected minor narcotics offense of own use and possession as well as a crime against the knife law.

Summary of the police's work during Motorveckan in Lycksele

During Friday, the patrols have worked to keep the intoxication level down and to handle the apprehensions of intoxicated people (LOB).

Three people were apprehended with the support of the law on apprehension of intoxicated people (LOB) and four young people were handed over to someone else.

Two people were turned away from the Square because they had shot firecrackers. A number of people were turned away from a gas station and some alcohol was confiscated, but not in the same quantities as on previous days. A dozen fines were issued for disturbing the peace, high music.

During the evening, reports were drawn up regarding a vandalism incident where someone had jumped on a A-tractor, a suspected minor narcotics offense of own use and a report regarding assault.

Despite a higher intoxication level than on previous days during the week, the atmosphere has been good overall.
