Here follow a selection of the night's events:
23.15 Mountain Rescue, Kiruna:
The on-duty commander makes a decision to initiate a mountain rescue in accordance with the Act on Protection against Accidents (LSO) to assist a man who has fallen and injured himself on Kebnekaise. Mountain rescuers are called out and transported to the scene by helicopter.
The man is taken down from the mountain and then driven to medical care by relatives. The rescue operation is concluded.
00.08 Traffic Offense, Luleå:
A truck driver on E4, Börjelslandet, receives a fine for disorderly conduct for towing another truck at a speed exceeding 30 km/h.
01.17 Unlawful Driving, Piteå:
The police stop an A-tractor in central Piteå suspected of being driven at a speed higher than allowed for the vehicle type. The A-tractor is seized for technical examination and a report of unlawful driving is drawn up.
02.12 Wildlife Accident, Älvsbyn:
The police receive a report of an accident involving a car and a deer on Highway 94, near Sågfors. No personal injuries are reported. The deer died in connection with the accident.
02.23 Break-in, Luleå:
A police patrol is dispatched to Örnäset in connection with a suspected break-in in a basement in a multi-family house. An unknown perpetrator/person has caused damage to a door. No suspected perpetrator is found. It is unclear if anything is stolen.
The scene is documented and a report of theft by break-in is drawn up.
Other:
The police have also carried out checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of crime.
