
Two cars collided.
Two cars have collided on state road 56 near Bie north of Katrineholm. One of the cars has ended up on the roof, and the other in a ditch. Rescue and police are on their way to the scene. The rescue operation will be quite extensive, so there will be major traffic disruptions.
19:12 The road will be closed during the rescue work. Other drivers are advised to choose an alternative route if possible. It is possible to turn off state road 56 onto the smaller road 676 and drive through the community of Bie to avoid the accident site.
19:16 It is a serious accident where the two cars are said to have collided head-on. Several people will need to be taken away by ambulance. Other drivers must keep an eye out and make room for emergency vehicles.
