Under the evening before last, a police patrol found a man seriously injured in central Örebro. The man had been brutally and unprovoked kicked in the head by a lone perpetrator. The course of events is documented through the police's fixed camera surveillance and through this, the police were able to obtain the identity of the perpetrator. He was apprehended during the night in his absence.

The man could be arrested in the morning during a house search in his apartment in central Örebro. Several patrols with reinforcement from the intervention force participated in the operation. The investigative situation is assessed as good but the police would still like to have more witness statements or recordings of the incident that occurred at 23.34.
