July 18 07.51, Summary of the night, Östergötland County

Police regional command center has handled between 22.00-07.00 about 100 cases in the region. Among other things:

02.20 police are alerted to Odensgatan in central Norrköping due to a fire. An unknown person/persons have thrown flammable liquid on a door in a stairwell and ignited it. The fire was extinguished by people on the scene and no one was injured. In the stairwell, minor damage to the property can be seen. A report of attempted gross arson has been prepared. At the moment, no one has been arrested. 
A police car collided with a private car in central Norrköping during a response. No one needed medical attention. The case is handled according to routine by the Special Prosecution Authority. The police have no further information about the incident.

02.30: Police are alerted to Vånga in Norrköping where a quad bike drove into a ditch near a horse farm. On the quad bike, two people were sitting who have injuries but are awake and able to talk. The driver, a 25-year-old man, is intoxicated and suspected of drunk driving. His driver's license is confiscated and the Transport Agency is notified. 

02.50 police are alerted to Hjulsbro where a woman has been visited by a man she has some form of relationship with. The man is then said to have injured her. This is said to have occurred indoors. Police arrive at the scene and separate the parties. No one is seriously injured. A report and counter-report are prepared. The man is suspected of assault, and the woman is suspected of minor assault on the man.  Both parties are in their 35s. 

03.38 SOS is alerted about a traffic accident on county road 215 in Skärblacka. Two people are said to have traveled on a moped that ended up in a ditch. The driver, who is under 18, had left the scene when the patrol arrived. The passenger, also a boy under 18, lies in the ditch and has unclear injuries. He is taken to the hospital. The incident is being investigated as unauthorized driving, causing bodily harm, and fleeing the scene of an accident.
