June 14 police are alerted to Highway 50, between Varv and Skänninge, in Motala municipality.

Several passing motorists alert about a dangerous traffic situation when cars have parked on the highway. It is said to be a dozen cars that stand partially in the ditch, partially on the highway. 

This is near the lake at Källarhemmet. 

A traffic warning has been issued, and the police are on the scene to persuade the car owners to move their cars and to prevent traffic accidents. 

Update 15.43: Police have managed to get some of the incorrectly parked cars to move. However, several car owners have not been reached yet. Passing motorists continue to draw attention to the traffic situation and alert the police. 

The current road, Highway 990, is a main road where the speed limit is 80 kilometers per hour. Parking on a main road is prohibited according to the Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 3, Section 55.
