The police were alerted about the incident early in the morning when a female victim was attacked with a blunt instrument at an address, indoors, in Karlskoga. 
The victim is awake and able to speak and it is not a matter of more serious injuries, but she is under care. 
After some information gathering, a woman in her mid-20s can be arrested as suspected of aggravated assault.
The investigation is ongoing and no further information can be provided at this time.
