A relatively quiet night in the police district. No more serious crimes have come to the police's knowledge.  Below follows a selection of the cases handled in the command center.

21:08: A patrol stops a car on E4 near Uppsala due to speeding. The driver, a man in his mid-20s, shows signs of narcotics influence and is taken for a blood test.
The driver is suspected of driving under the influence of narcotics, minor narcotics offense, and exceeding the highest permitted speed. His driver's license was confiscated by the patrol.

00:38 A woman in her 40s is stopped in a car on E18 in Bålsta. She is suspected of driving under the influence of narcotics and was taken for a blood test. The patrol confiscated her driver's license on the spot. The car key was confiscated to prevent further traffic offenses.

02:02 A man in his 40s was caught in the act by a patrol after he broke into a gym on Sjukhusvägen in central Uppsala. The man was heavily intoxicated and was taken into custody under the law on the apprehension of intoxicated persons (LOB), he is suspected of unlawful entry and will sober up in police custody.

02:22 A man in his 55s on a bike is checked by a patrol in the Kvarngårdet area, Uppsala. The bike is suspected of being stolen and the man was found to have suspected narcotics on him. He is suspected of theft and minor narcotics offense and was allowed to leave the scene on foot after the check. The bike was seized.

03:24 A police car hits a deer while patrolling near Skokloster. The command center calls a hunting guide who takes care of the animal.
