On Tenngatan in Västerås, a police patrol stops and checks a vehicle.

In connection with the driver, a man in his 40s, being checked, he resists and the patrol is forced to use a stun gun to get him under control.

The man is suspected of gross unauthorized driving and driving under the influence of narcotics.

As the man is involved in similar crimes in the near future, it is decided, according to the seventh paragraph of the Traffic Offenses Act, to confiscate the man's vehicle in order to prevent further crime.

Due to the man's level of intoxication, he is also taken into custody according to the Law on the Taking into Custody of Intoxicated Persons.
