A woman living at an address in Västerås calls the police and tells them that a man, whom she has a relationship with, is trying to attack her. According to the woman, she and her children have locked themselves in a room.

When the police arrive at the scene, all three are still in the apartment. The man, who is in his mid-30s, is arrested on suspicion of assault and child custody disturbance.
