Almost immediately after 02:30, the police are alerted to a fight that took place at a multi-family house in central Trosa. According to eyewitnesses, two people were seen arguing and screaming at each other. It was also heard how someone smashed a window in the house. When the police arrive at the address, three people are found in a stairwell, one of whom is injured. It can quickly be determined that an ambulance needs to be called to the scene. The man, who apparently was injured with some form of weapon, is then taken to the hospital. The extent of the injuries is currently unknown to the police. One of the other people present at the time, a man in his 40s, is soon arrested as a suspect in the case. The whole thing is currently classified as an attempted murder. The police continue to investigate what happened and technicians are called to the crime scene during the morning. They also continue to hear individuals from the public who may have seen or heard something that will be valuable for the ongoing investigation. Barriers have been set up at the relevant property and they will knock on doors in the area around the crime scene during the day.
