Police regional headquarters has handled between 22.00-07.00 a number of 70 cases in Södermanland County. The cases that stand out are:

22:30: Police are alerted to Trosa when a woman in her 50s who has been exposed to a scam in the evening. The woman is said to have received an SMS with information that she had not paid a bill. She is then said to have called a number listed in the SMS, and was connected to a false security department that tricked her into transferring approximately 80,000 kronor. A report of fraud has been prepared. 

23:55: Police are alerted to a basement in Eskilstuna due to a man being injured. On the scene are two men who are familiar with each other. The origin of the incident is said to be some form of dispute. A man in his 60s is suspected of having injured a man in his 40s with a sharp object. The injured man has defensive wounds and has not been seriously injured. He is taken to the hospital for examination. The man in his 60s is arrested suspected of attempted murder.

01:11: Alarm about a major fight outside a kiosk in central Nyköping. When the police arrive at the scene, only one person is left on the scene. The person is a 20-year-old man who in some way has been exposed to assault. He is also very intoxicated and is taken into custody according to LOB. The perpetrator is unknown.
