Police regional command center has handled between 22.00-07.00 a number of 40 cases related to Södermanland County.

Man apprehended after altercation in residence
Police patrol is ordered to an address in central Katrineholm after some form of altercation is said to have occurred in a residence. They come to the scene to separate the involved parties and talk to those affected about what happened. The involved parties have some form of relationship with each other. No one is said to have suffered serious injury. A man in his mid-20s is arrested on suspicion of attempted assault and unlawful threats. He has later been apprehended by the prosecutor during the night. 

Altercation in stairwell
Around midnight, police are alerted to a suspected altercation in a multi-family house in Årby, Eskilstuna. This after the public heard screams from a stairwell. When the police arrive at the scene, they find a person who was involved in some form of confrontation with several others who have left the scene. After further information gathering, it appears that the same person is said to have been beaten in connection with the altercation. Who may be responsible for this is unknown. A report regarding assault is filed. 

Aside from this, the police have handled alarms related to mental illness, as well as routine checks on their own initiative or after alarms from the public.
