Due to reports of a forthcoming serious violent crime in a school environment, a number of searches were conducted in Ludvika on Thursday, January 23.

During one of these searches, a younger person was taken in for questioning at the decision of the prosecutor. After questioning, it was deemed that the initially assessed threat level was no longer current, which was informed to Ludvika Municipality.

The person taken in was handed over to social authorities after the questioning was completed. The investigation is continuing from the police side.
