January 22, 18.28, Arson, Munkedal

Police and rescue services were alerted to a residence on Gläborg in Munkedal due to a fire. 
Rescue services are working to extinguish the fire. Police initially assisted rescue services in their work. Several people were in the residence when the fire started. Police were able to apprehend a person suspected of arson. The person has been injured in the fire, at present the extent of the injuries is unknown. The person will be taken to hospital for treatment of injuries. Another person has received care on the spot by an ambulance.  

Police have initiated an investigation into arson.

**Rescue services have extinguished the fire and are continuing to work on the site with follow-up extinguishing work. A dozen residences are affected by the incident. Police are continuing to work on the site with the investigation.
