Noise is coming in from SOS that a person who was traveling on a snowmobile has driven into a tree.
The incident is said to have occurred approximately 2 km from a passable road. According to reports, the driver is said to be awake and able to speak, but has injuries to the chest and a fracture in a bone. Mountain rescue teams from Sälen are in the area and arrived on the scene about 20 minutes later. The mountain rescue teams transport the man, who is 65 years old, to a meeting point with the ambulance. Police patrols on the scene are now conducting interviews with witnesses to determine what happened.
