A man in his 40s has been arrested at an address in Haparanda municipality. He is suspected of having assaulted a woman he has a relationship with. An interrogation is being held and the prosecutor decides to apprehend the man.

22:07 Attempt at fraud, Piteå
Information is received that an elderly person in Piteå has been called by a scammer who claims to be a police officer. The scammer claims that the elderly person's bank card is cloned and that someone has tried to use it to refuel. The person who was called was then made to talk to a scammer who claimed to be from the bank's security department. The scammer tried to persuade the person to reveal their card details. A report is filed regarding an attempt at fraud.

Two wildlife accidents have been reported to the police during the night and morning. There are no reports of personal injuries.
