Alarm is received by SOS that an elderly man has not returned from a skiing trip in Leksand municipality. A larger search operation is initiated and tracks lead to a hole, where unfortunately the man is feared to have gone through the ice and perished. Despite work on the scene, no person has yet been found and the police have taken over the case where police divers have been contacted to handle the continued work.

A report of a missing person has been prepared for the time being.

Relatives have been informed of the actual circumstances surrounding the incident.
