Eight people have been taken into custody for drunkenness, one of whom is suspected of minor narcotics offenses for personal use. The police have also carried out a number of checks on people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.

23:39 Assault, Örnsköldsvik
Reports are coming in that there was a fight outside Rondellplan. People on the scene are identified and a report and counter-report regarding assault are being taken up. There are no reports that anyone has had to visit the emergency medical service.

01:50 Drunken driving, Sundsvall
Police check a driver in Sundsvall. Suspicion arises that he is under the influence of narcotics and a blood test is performed. A report regarding suspected drunken driving and minor narcotics offenses, personal use, is to be drawn up. The driver, a 25-year-old man, has his driving license confiscated.
