January 18, 08.21, Summary of the night, Jämtland County

Two people have been taken into custody for drunkenness and one person has been taken in for testing after suspicion of narcotics crime. The police have also performed several checks on people and vehicles that did not result in any crime suspicion.

Here follows a selection of the night's events:

00:25 Assault, Åre
Reports come in that a man has been assaulted at a restaurant in Storlien. The man is taken to hospital by ambulance. The perpetrator is said to have left the scene. There is no known suspected perpetrator initially. Witness interrogations are held and a report initially classified as aggravated assault is filed.

A wild animal accident has been reported to the police during the night. There are no reports of personal injuries.
