A 25-year-old man is subjected to an attempted robbery when a person threatens the man with an object resembling a pistol. The perpetrator leaves the scene without taking anything and the police are called. A few hundred meters away, a 15-year-old boy and girl are found who match the description and are apprehended. The object resembling a pistol is deemed to be a soft airgun and will be further investigated.

Following the initial investigation, no attempted robbery has been confirmed. The boy and girl are jointly suspected of gross illegal threats and the boy is also suspected of minor firearms offenses.
