Four people have been taken into custody for drunkenness and two people have been taken in for testing after suspicion of narcotics offenses.

The police have also carried out a number of checks on people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of crime.

22:55 Drunken driving, Sundsvall
Police check a driver outside Sundsvall. Suspicion arises that he is under the influence of alcohol and a test is performed. The driver, a 55-year-old man, is suspected of gross drunken driving and a knife law offense.

01:23 Assault, Sundsvall
Reports of assault on Stora Torget are received. A 20-year-old man is suspected of assaulting another man. The man suspected is taken into custody with the support of the Law on the Taking into Custody of Intoxicated Persons (LOB). The injured party is taken to medical care by ambulance. Witness testimony is held and a report is drawn up.
