Women over 80 years old are particularly vulnerable to scams - but other ages and genders are also affected.

Scams often start with a text message or a call saying 'Home security or similar will come to your home' or 'You have purchased something via Klarna' and so on. Existing companies are therefore used, which DO NOT have anything to do with the scams.

The person who receives the text message often contacts them to say 'that they did not order anything' or 'did not purchase anything' and so on. They are then given what appears to be help to prevent them from being deceived.

It is of great importance to never give out bank card details, your card or connect to Bank-ID to a person who has contacted you in this way.

No company or police will come to private individuals and collect cards, codes or belongings (jewelry, etc.).

Break off calls that are the slightest bit suspicious and do not open the door for unwanted visitors. Dare to be unpleasant if necessary to a person who called you or whom you called and who asks for your bank card details or similar.

Talk to your relatives and friends about the approach to prevent more crimes.
