Police have handled almost 200 cases in Östergötland County between 22:00 and 07:00. Of these, around 40 are related to fireworks and explosions. Around 30 cases are related to intoxication, and the police have taken into custody a number of individuals according to LOB, and have also escorted minors to their guardians.

The policeman is not seriously physically injured. The person who set off the device, a man in his 30s, is taken into custody according to LOB and is also suspected of violating the public order act at present.
00:30 A car drives straight through the roundabout at the Kneippen traffic circle in Norrköping and comes to a stop. Passersby alert the police when the driver appears to be impaired. The police on the scene take custody of the driver, vehicle keys, and driver's license, and the man in his 20s is now suspected of drunk driving.
01:46 Witnesses to a beating incident report a man hitting a woman outdoors in Ryd, Linköping. The man then attacks those who report the incident. A police patrol is sent to the scene and can after a short search apprehend the man, who is in his 30s. He is now suspected of three counts of assault. No one is seriously physically injured, but one person needs to visit the hospital for treatment and examination.
