During the morning, the police were contacted regarding a snowmobile accident in Vemdalen.
Police's on-duty commanding officer made a decision to initiate a mountain rescue operation in accordance with the LSO, the Act on Protection Against Accidents.

The operation could, however, be quickly terminated as staff from Skistar together with an ambulance were able to help the affected person to medical care. The driver was taken to care where the police have been and spoken to him.
