A car driver discovers that a hit by an elk is lying near E4 shortly north of the exit towards Arlanda. A patrol goes there together with a wildlife caretaker. The elk is dead and as no car driver has reported to the police that they hit the elk, the police will write a report about a hunting crime. 
The elk is transported to SVA (National Veterinary Institute) in Uppsala for examination.
