01:44 Borås, drunk driving
A police patrol stops a car on Fessingsgatan after a speeding violation. During the stop, the driver jumps out of the car and flees the scene on foot. The police are searching for the man, including with a dog, and shortly after 2 o'clock, he is found in the vicinity. The man is suspected of illegal driving and drunk driving, and is taken in for a body search.
01:57 Gothenburg, assault
Police are called to Kungsportsavenyen, where a man in his 20s is reported to have been assaulted. On the scene, a suspected man in his 50s is found. He is taken into custody in accordance with the law on the apprehension of intoxicated persons. When the man has sobered up, he will be heard as a suspect for assault.
The victim has pain in a leg, and a patrol takes him to the hospital for control and care.
02:34 Partille, fire
A fire alarm is sounded for a fire in an apartment on Björndammsterrassen. The fire department enters the building with scuba divers and rescues a woman in her 75s. She is taken to the hospital awake and able to speak. The fire is believed to have started on the stove, and a report of general negligence is filed.
02:45 Gothenburg, fire
A fire alarm is sounded for a fire in a parked car in Norumshöjd. The fire department and police are at the scene. When the fire is extinguished, a report of damage through arson is filed. There is currently no suspect in the case. A total of three cars have suffered material damage.
03:42 Gothenburg, vandalism
A person contacts the police and reports that an unknown man smashed a window on the owner's car. The man is yelling and behaving, according to the complainant, completely crazy. The police are quickly on the scene and can secure the man, who remains aggressive. He is arrested, suspected of vandalism and drug offenses, own use.
