From the afternoon and throughout the evening, there have been reports of scams and attempted scams to the police in Stockholm. 
Totally, it is about approximately 25 crimes that have been directed against victims who are mainly in the 80- to 90-year-old age group.
This is unusually many. Almost all reports concern crimes in the Stockholm municipality. 

It involves both scams via SMS/telephone and physical visits to the home. Or a combination of both. At the moment, it is not possible to write a compilation of how many of the crimes have been completed. 

Never call a number you got in an unexpected SMS. Often the number does not go to the bank, home care, authority, or electronics store. Those who answer on the other end are scammers. If you want to check the information in an SMS that appears to come from a company, you should yourself search for contact information on their website, for example. 

Hang up the phone. A scammer who calls can, for example, say that they are calling from the bank or from an authority. End the call if you are unsure who is calling. Dare to be unpleasant even to people who say they want to help you.  

Do not log in. Do not log in with bank-id if someone calls and urges you to do so. Also, do not leave out codes from the bank card or credit card.

Do not let unknown people into your home. Close the door a little too much rather than risking letting criminals into your home. The police never go to someone's home to pick up a bank card or gold jewelry. The same applies to serious companies and other organizations.

Do not give anything away. Do not give away bank cards, codes, or valuable items.
