Jämtland, a selection of the night's police activities

At 00:00-07:00, two people have been taken into custody for intoxication.

Two wild animal accidents have been reported to the police in the early morning (in Åre and Östersund). No personal injuries have been reported.

In other matters:

On Monday evening (February 23), police were ordered to an address in Lugnvik, Östersund, due to suspected ongoing burglary in a basement storage room. On site, two people were checked who were suspected of carrying stolen goods as well as cash and narcotics. A later house search was conducted at another address and two more people were arrested, suspected of narcotics offenses.

A report was filed regarding narcotics offenses, theft, and money laundering offenses.

During the investigation, information also emerged about, among other things, assault and abuse of justice with additional involved persons.

The four detained individuals are now being held in custody after a decision from the prosecutor.
