A passerby discovers a man on the ice in Fyrisån along Östra Ågatan in central Uppsala. According to the informant, the man is standing on the ice without being able to get to land himself, and he is also complaining of pain.

When the police arrive at the scene, the man has managed to get a life jacket around his body and can be pulled onto land.

The man, who is in his 30s, is taken away by ambulance to the hospital for a check-up.
