During the afternoon, the police were contacted regarding a person who is located approximately one kilometer from the Helags mountain station but due to various reasons, including bad weather, cannot get to the location on their own.

The police officer on duty makes a decision to initiate a mountain rescue operation according to the LSO, the Act on Protection against Accidents. Mountain rescuers are called out. However, a civilian person can still assist the person/people to the mountain station. The operation is concluded and the mountain rescuers return.
