Under the afternoon, the police received a report that several avalanches had occurred on Hamrafjället in Tänndalen, Härjedalen.

The on-duty commanding officer of the police made a decision to initiate the LSO, law on protection against accidents. Mountain rescue teams with avalanche dogs were alerted to ensure that no person had been swept away by the avalanches. 

On site, the mountain rescue teams received information that another avalanche had occurred, at Lillskarven. The avalanche is believed to have been triggered by skiers.

At 17:00, the assessment was made that no person had been injured in connection with the avalanches. The operation is being concluded.
