Container fire in Jönåker
02:47, police were alerted about a fire that had broken out in a recycling container in Jönåker outside Nyköping. A police patrol arrived at the scene and after investigating the fire site, a report was filed regarding damage caused by fire. No suspected individuals have been found. 

Truck accident on E4
05:27 Two trucks collided with each other due to a motor failure near Bergshammar in Nyköping municipality. This resulted in a lot of debris on the road, but neither of the involved parties suffered physical injury. Neither of them are suspected of traffic offenses in connection with the incident.
