During the afternoon, the police are contacted about an assault having taken place at a location in Jönköping as a result of some form of altercation. It involves a man in his 40s who is alleged to have hit a woman he has a relationship with. The police arrive at the residence and the suspected man is apprehended for assault of a normal degree. The affected woman is not seriously injured. The man was later apprehended by the prosecutor during the evening.
