Larm came in about three cars burning in central Köping. A person was seen running from the scene.

Rescue services and police rushed to the scene and the fire was extinguished. A report on damage is being prepared to investigate the fire.

During the night between Friday and Saturday, the police were alerted to a break-in in Köping. A man was arrested and held for this and could also be linked to the car fires. The man was on Sunday held suspected of both break-in and damage by fire.
