A man who had driven to Rannebergen in Gothenburg with his family in his car to buy a car was subjected to a robbery attempt. The man had a larger sum of cash with him and was sitting in his car with his family, wife, and two children. Three unknown persons approached the car, one of whom was masked with a pistol-like object. The perpetrator tried to open the car door and when it didn't succeed, he tried to smash the window with the pistol-like object. The perpetrator failed to get into the car and the robbery attempt was interrupted and the perpetrators ran from the scene. The police were alerted to the scene and a police operation started. Several police patrols have been in Rannebergen and surrounding areas searching for the perpetrator(s). Several people have been checked in the area, but no one has been arrested yet for the attempted robbery.
