During the day/afternoon, the area around Skövde has been affected by a scam targeting elderly people. The victim has been called by people claiming to be from the police and that they want to inform them that there have been many break-ins in the area. Those who have called the victim have asked them to bring out jewelry that will be picked up by the police so that they are not affected by the break-ins.

This is a method that the police do not use and we therefore ask for vigilance and that relatives of the elderly inform them about this.
