
Car in collision with elk.
On E4 between Gnarp and Årskogen, a passenger car collides with an elk.
The driver, a 55-year-old woman, is taken by ambulance for further care. The woman is reportedly injured in her hands on glass shards at the time of the accident, otherwise unclear injury situation.
The car is damaged and towed away from the scene. During the towing work, the car lane was temporarily closed in the southbound direction, at 16:30 the traffic flows as usual again.
The dead elk is handled by wildlife managers.
The police suspect no crime in connection with the accident.
